Coach Tom Yannuzzi was a high school athlete at Belleville high, earning varsity letters in football, wrestling, and track and field. Participating in sports his entire life, he became addicted to training for his upcoming sport.

“I was not the most genetically gifted athlete, so i knew to get the edge on my opponents, was to train smart and diligently through the years. After high school, I knew my athletic career was over, but the passion of training never left.”

After graduating Belleville High School, Tom went on to William Paterson University and graduated with a B.S in Exercise Physiology. While studying, he continued to use the information and put it into action training for Strongman. Being a highly competitive person he had to scratch the itch. So this is how Tom began competing in Strongman and am now currently a top level amateur. Competing in multiple competitions a year, my highest achievement  is the NAS Axle clean and press record at 355lbs.

“The achievements I held on the field or in strongman all happened because on consistency and determination to being great. The first step of reaching your goals, furthering your athletic career, or becoming the best you can be all starts with being consistent and putting in the hours of hard-work.”

See you all soon
